Hungarian Film ‘Be My Dad’ Brings Contemporary Cinema to Bangkok’s TK Park

International film screenings provide audiences with an accessible way to experience different cultures and perspectives. The collaboration between TK Park and Hungary’s cultural institutions also strengthens cultural exchange between Thailand and Hungary. About the Film: Be My Dad follows Barna, a famous writer struggling with creative block who unexpectedly has to care for a seven-year-old boy for 10 days. The warm comedy explores relationships across generations, family, imagination and the possibility of starting again through humour and emotional storytelling. At the Screening: H.E. Szilvia Szaloki, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand, introduced the film before the screening at TK Park’s Learning Auditorium on the 8th floor of centralwOrld. After the film, guests joined a reception hosted by the Hungarian Embassy, providing an opportunity for conversation and cultural exchange.
