Brivfy — Daily briefings. Smarter decisions.

Effective Date: July 7, 2026

Last Updated: July 7, 2026

Brivfy ("Brivfy," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.brivfy.com and the Brivfy mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in through a third-party provider (such as Apple, Google, or Facebook), we receive the information you authorize that provider to share.
  • Preferences: Topics you follow, briefing categories you select, notification settings, and language or region preferences.
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact us, respond to surveys, subscribe to newsletters, or submit feedback.
  • Comments and contributions: Any content you post publicly through the Services, where such features are available.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

  • Device information: Device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), browser type, and app version.
  • Usage data: Articles and briefings you view, time spent reading, features used, links clicked, search queries within the Services, session duration, and crash or performance data.
  • Log data: IP address, access dates and times, referring pages, and general diagnostic information.
  • Approximate location: We may infer your general location (such as country or city) from your IP address to deliver region-relevant news. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission for a feature that requires it.

1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies

On our website, we use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure audience and content performance, and support advertising where applicable. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality. Our mobile apps use comparable technologies such as SDKs and device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services across iOS, Android, and the web
  • Deliver daily briefings, breaking news alerts, and push notifications you have opted into
  • Personalize your feed and recommend content based on your interests and reading behavior
  • Create and manage your account and sync your preferences across devices
  • Send service-related communications, and newsletters or marketing messages where you have consented (you may opt out at any time)
  • Analyze usage trends to improve content, features, and performance
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (delivering the Services you request), consent (marketing communications, optional cookies, push notifications), legitimate interests (improving the Services, security, analytics), and legal obligation (compliance with applicable law).

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Vendors that support our operations, such as cloud hosting, analytics providers, push-notification services, email delivery platforms, and customer support tools. These providers are bound to process data only on our instructions.
  • Advertising partners: If our Services display advertising, ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and platform-level controls (see Section 7).
  • Analytics providers: Tools such as app and web analytics platforms that help us understand how the Services are used.
  • Legal and safety: Authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brivfy, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your data or you will be notified of any changes.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Usage and analytics data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form indefinitely. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Controls

  • Push notifications: Manage or disable notifications in the app settings or your device settings at any time.
  • Email communications: Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email; service-related messages may still be sent.
  • Advertising identifiers: On iOS, use "Allow Apps to Request to Track" and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt to control tracking. On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings. On the web, adjust cookie preferences via our consent banner where available.
  • Account data: Update your profile and preferences within the app or website, or contact us to access or correct your data.
  • Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting us at the address below. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Thailand (PDPA): Users in Thailand have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), including access, rectification, erasure, objection, and data portability.

California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell personal information. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals on our website where required.

EEA/UK (GDPR): Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom hold the rights listed above under the GDPR and UK GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9. International Data Transfers

Brivfy operates globally, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect transferred data.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Third-Party Links and Content

Our briefings and articles may link to third-party websites, sources, and services. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services (such as an in-app notice or website banner) or by email, and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
