Adani and Jabil Advance India-Based AI Hardware Manufacturing Venture

Adani Enterprises and US manufacturer Jabil signed a non-binding memorandum for a proposed 50:50 venture manufacturing artificial-intelligence servers, racks and data-centre equipment in India. The partnership would combine Adani’s energy and infrastructure ecosystem with Jabil’s engineering and global supply-chain expertise, supporting India’s emergence as an AI hardware production base globally.

AI expansion requires physical infrastructure—including servers, computing racks, power systems, cooling equipment and data centres—not only software and algorithms. The proposed partnership could move India further into this globally important hardware supply chain. Jabil brings international manufacturing and engineering expertise, while Adani contributes energy, infrastructure and data-centre capabilities. Producing equipment domestically could also support data sovereignty, reduce import dependence and supply international hyperscale and enterprise customers.
