Singapore and Timor-Leste Expand Bilateral Cooperation

Singapore and Timor-Leste have announced new initiatives covering employment, healthcare, education and foreign affairs. From the second half of 2027, eligible Timorese workers will be permitted to enter Singapore’s construction, maritime and process industries. The countries will also cooperate as Timor-Leste strengthens its participation in ASEAN institutions.
