Over 200 organizations from the public and private sectors, civil society, and the LGBTQ+ community supported the event. Notable figures in attendance included former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, and Supaluck Umpujh from the Private Sector Partnership Network.

This year’s parade was especially meaningful, following the recent passage of Thailand’s landmark Marriage Equality Law—making Thailand the first Southeast Asian country to recognize same-sex marriage. The law is seen as a significant step in broadening rights and protections for all citizens.

Pride Month festivities throughout June promote equality, identity freedom, and inclusiveness while boosting Thailand’s global image as a progressive and welcoming nation.

LOVE PRIDE PARADE 2025 stood as a powerful demonstration of unity, diversity, and legal recognition for LGBTQ+ individuals, reflecting the country’s growing openness and commitment to human rights.
